BIMI Tools

Verify and generate BIMI records for brand display.

BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) lets an organization display its logo in the inbox. It publishes a DNS record pointing to an SVG file in the SVG Tiny PS profile and requires the domain to enforce DMARC.

BIMI Logo Validator

Check your SVG before publishing

Upload your SVG file and instantly check whether it meets the SVG Tiny Portable/Secure specification that BIMI requires, before publishing your BIMI record or applying for a VMC or CMC certificate. The check runs entirely in your browser: the file is never sent to a server.

or drag and drop it here

SVG only (max 10 MB). The file never leaves your device.

Frequently Asked Questions

The validator applies the SVG Tiny PS profile checks, and the number depends on the file: for a readable SVG it is 14, and 13 when the file does not declare a viewBox (that check does not apply). It checks that the file is a readable SVG; that the root declares version="1.2", baseProfile="tiny-ps", the SVG namespace and a viewBox; that the drawing area is square; that width and height are declared; that there is a single non-empty <title>; that it uses no prohibited elements; that there are no embedded raster images (<image> element); that it uses no event handlers or executable schemes; that it points to no external resources; that it stays under 32 KB; and that it contains at least two colours when rendered. If the file cannot be read as an SVG, the validator stops there and reports only that problem.

An error is something that makes the logo fail the profile and that the email client may reject: a missing baseProfile, a <script> or an embedded image, or a file that is not a valid SVG. A warning does not block publication but is worth fixing: a viewBox that is not square, missing width and height, exceeding 32 KB, or using a single colour.
